New Delhi: Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan warned Samajwadi Party lawmaker Akshay Yadav of disciplinary action after he flung papers at her during House proceedings Thursday morning.

The unruly incident happened when Opposition parties were protesting against the notes ban in Lok Sabha.

Akshay had torn some papers next to the chair of the SecretaryGeneral and threw it across.

Akshay Yadav is the member of Parliament from Firozabad. He is the son of Rajya Sabha MP Ram Gopal Yadav and nephew of SP president Mulayam Singh Yadav.

As several members from Congress, TMC and SP trooped into the Well raising anti-government slogans, Mahajan adjourned the House for the day.
