New Delhi:  Media fraternity lost another veteran journalist today as Senior journalist Shesh Narain Singh passed away due to coronavirus disease on Friday morning. Shesh Narain Singh was admitted to GIMS at Noida after being infected with the virus.


According to the report, the Indian Youth Congress provided plasma to the senior journalist when his condition worsened on Thursday night. 


Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his condolences to the members of Shesh Narain Singh's family and said that he would be remembered for his significant contribution to the journalism world.


Shesh Narain  Singh was administered with both doses of the vaccine few weeks ago after which he contracted the virus.


"The demise of senior journalist Sesha Narayan Singh ji is very sad. He will always be known for his significant contribution to the journalism world. My condolences to his family in this hour of grief. Om Shanti!" PM Modi tweeted.



He was a columnist, political commentator, and an expert on foreign policy.


Singh was a respected journalist who appeared across a spectrum of TV debates and had immense knowledge of the political system of India.
