New Delhi: It is not only Uttar Pradesh (UP) Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath who is in action since he taken charge but his ministers are also following his footsteps and are in action, doing surprise inspections of the government departments of the state.

On Monday, Minister of State (Independent Charge) in UP, Upendra Tiwari did a surprise inspection of RTO office of Ballia district.

The amount of indiscipline shocked the minister.

Minister visited the RTO's chamber only to find out that the officer was missing from his seat.

Seeing this, Tiwari in the video can be heard asking, "Where is RTO?"

He then visited another chamber and there too no one was present on his seat.

During the surprise inspection, Tiwari also spotted a bag full of forms.

The minister asked-"Who gave permission to give forms in such huge quantity?" and added-" If this is not brokering than what is it?"

Minister angered, even more, when he spotted unhygienic conditions in the office's washroom.

Minister moved out of the building of RTO advising employees to behave properly and follow rules and regulations.

Interestingly, as he moved out of the building, he was intercepted by a commoner who came there to make his driving license (DL).

"They (RTO employees) are asking Rs 4,000 to make DL", common man complained to the minister but failed to provide proof.

On this minister, Upendra Tiwari cautioned the officer present with him and warned-"You are the head of the organisation and if any subordinate of yours indulges in corruption then, it will be your accountability."

"So whosoever is indulging in corrupt practices, take swift action against those on getting information", minister added.

Minister in Yogi govt, Anil Rajbhar inspects under-construction flyover in Varanasi

However, Tiwari was not the only one who did a surprise inspection. Another minister of Yogi, Anil Rajbhar inspected an under-construction flyover in Varanasi district.

The minister, irked over delay in project, warned officials and told them to complete work on time.

The flyover is being constructed in Cantt area from past one-and-a-half-years but not even a single pillar is erected there.

Minister clarified that the Yogi government will neither compromise with quality of any project nor time.

Police raid RTO office of Meerut, nabs 35 brokers

Interestingly, not only ministers but also the police of the state has now also swung into action and something like this was witnessed on Monday when police raided RTO office of Meerut to catch brokers. In total, 35 brokers were nabbed by the cops.

Police said that brokers are being helped by some employees inside the RTO.

However, RTO officer Mamata Sharma published this allegation.
