As per the official statement released by the board, available on the official website, it has been mentioned that the board came across that at a few centres the second shift examination papers were accidentally distributed for the first shift candidates. Hence, the board has decided to declare the second shift exam as invalid and conduct a fresh examination for UP Police recruitment soon. Notably, the exam was conducted for recruitment to 41,520 posts.
However, the board has not revealed any specific date for the UP Police re-exam. It is advised that the candidates who had appeared for the examination in the second shift may check the official website for any updates regarding the re-examination.
On the orther hand, the candidates who had appeared in the first shift do not have to worry it as their test still stands valid. The UP Police first shift exam papers will be evaluated as directed.
Meanwhile, as per the report by India Today, the Board has decided to file an FIR against the exam centre supervisor and the representatives of the agency who were conducting the exam. The exam was held across 860 centres to fill vacancies for both male and female constables in the police force and male constables in the PAC.
