New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday, attended the state Bharatiya Janata Party Working Committee meeting in Lucknow. The one-day meeting of the BJP state executive is being held to discuss and chalk out the strategy to implement the central leadership's plans for the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
Speaking on the occasion Yogi Adityanath hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership and said, under PM Modi, India will become 4th largest economic superpower in the world. He also said that BJP’s historic win in Gujarat has inspired and infused new enthusiasm. “Under the leadership of PM Modi, India will become 4th largest economic superpower in the world,” Yogi Adityanath said as quoted by ANI. “Historic win of BJP in Gujarat inspires us & has infused a new enthusiasm in us,” he added.
Further praising PM Modi’s leadership, UP CM said, under PM Modi's leadership, India got the G20 presidency and now India will get the opportunity to show its capabilities to the world. “Under PM Modi's leadership, India got the G20 presidency and now India will get the opportunity to show its capabilities to the world. It's our good fortune that a state like UP will also get a chance to be part of the G20 summit,” Yogi Adityanath said as quoted by ANI.
More than 700 delegates were invited from across the state and the party's central body for the first session of the executive meeting. Addressing the Committee meeting Yogi Adityanath also talked about PM Modi’s ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign and said that the campaign connected 140 crore Indians and showed what 'azaadi' is.

Adityanath also said that all the big investors in the world want to invest in Uttar Pradesh because of the model of security and good governance. He also said that from being called a diseased state, Uttar Pradesh today has become an exporter state.
“Because of the model of security & good governance established in the state, all big investors in the world now want to invest in Uttar Pradesh & because of it, Rs 1.61 crore jobs have been created in 5 years,” Adityanath said. Apart from state office-bearers, BJP central office-bearers and Union Ministers who hail from Uttar Pradesh were also invited, as reported by the news agency IANS. District presidents and heads of the different wings of the party were also invited.
The BJP will discuss a political resolution in which the party will appreciate the achievements of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government in the Centre and Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh, IANS reported citing a party spokesman. The BJP won the maximum Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh which helped the party in forming the government at the Centre in 2019 and 2014.
Out of the 80 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh BJP won 71 and 64 seats in the 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha Elections respectively. The party hopes to win all 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh this time to further consolidate its position.
