Here is all you need to know about the fresh norms in the following states:
Punjab
The CM Captain Amarinder Singh-led state government has ordered a slew of relaxations. These include lifting of night curfew and ending the Sunday lockdown, while the DGP has been directed to strictly enforce wearing of masks and other safety Covid-19 norms.
Punjab Chief Minister's Office informed that the relaxations also increase the limit for marriage functions and funerals to 100 in the state, in line with union government's guidelines, as well as easing restriction of 3 persons in a car and 50% capacity in buses, subject to the condition of windows being open.
Over the matter of reopening schools and educational institutions, the Centre has asked states to reach a decision after October 15, the final decision will be announced after due discussions between the Home Secretary and the Education Department.

Odisha
In Odisha, places of worship not be opened to the public till October 31. Cinema halls, swimming pools, entertainment complexes, theatres, auditoriums and assembly halls will also continue to remain closed till 31st October.
Political, religious, functions and other large gatherings are also prohibited till 31st Oct. However because of the by-election in Tirtol & Balasore Assembly Constituencies, political gatherings have been allowed as per the Election Commission's guidelines by district admin.
