New Delhi: As Russia's war on Ukraine completed tenth on Saturday, the Russian military observed a temporary cease-fire in two key areas of Ukraine in order to allow safe evacuation of citizens.

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Saturday claimed that no Indian is now left in Ukraine's Kharkiv and the focus is now to evacuate citizens stranded in Sumy region. It also said that the best option to evacuate Indian nationals would be a ceasefire.

Russian ambassador to India, Denis Alpov, on Saturday said that the current situation would impact the whole world, including India's ties with Russia. "There may be an impact in terms of transactions, possibility of financial cooperation in connection with sanctions, "Russian Envoy to India said.

Ukraine's Pisochyn Evacuated Of All Indians: Indian Embassy

All Indian nationals have been evacuated from Pisochyn, and the embassy will stay in touch with them throughout their travel, according to the Indian Embassy in Ukraine. The Embassy stated in a tweet that India has always prioritised their safety. It has asked Indians to remain safe and strong.
