New Delhi: The Twitterati on Saturday lapped up Prime Minister Narendra Modi's speech in Kerala where he tore into Pakistan for "exporting terror".
#pmreturnsurifire and #KeralaWithNaMo trended on the social networking site after Modi made his strongest attack yet on Pakistan.
"The nation deserves such decisiveness, dedication & determination. #PMReturnsUriFire," said a user.
"By this fiery speech..We are confident that our PM won't let us down. #PMReturnsUriFire," tweeted another.
Spending a large part of his forceful speech on the issue of terrorism, Modi also ridiculed Pakistan for "singing the Kashmir tune" at the UN.
After Modi began his address in Malayalam and assured of the BJP and Centre's commitment for the progress of Kerala, many twitter users hailed the Prime Minister as #KeralaWithNaMo too started to trend.
"#KeralaWithNaMo not only Kerala but whole nation is with #PM We will support our PM in every possible way," posted a user.
"#KeralaWithNaMo Perfect Speech, Shows Responsible Leadership @narendramodi," said another.
But there were many who differed, posting "#KeralaNotWithNaMo"
"Modi selected the safest place in India for replying to PAK shows how serious he is on today's jibe #KeralaNotWithNaMo," posted a user.
"Spend all the money for paid trends, but the truth is #KeralaNotWithNaMo," said another.
