Trinamool Congress (TMC) national spokesperson and senior leader Kunal Ghosh on Friday removed the party's name from his official X handle. Kunal Ghosh mentioned "Journalist" and "Social Activist" in his bio on X. Speculations are rife that Ghosh is likely to quit TMC ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024. However, no official announcement has been made by the TMC leader yet.

Earlier in his last tweet on Thursday, Ghosh stated: "Incompetent, group-centric, and selfish leaders. Will continue to deceive all year round, yet faces tough competition from Didi, Abhishek, @AITCofficial. Victory depends on the enthusiasm of party workers, not personal gain, which may not be repeated."

Kunal didn't mention anyone in that post. Consequently, curiosity arose, whom is Kunal referring to?  It is speculated that Kunal's post revolved around Kolkata's leader and politics. The post came after TMC leader Sudip Bandopadhyay convened a meeting of North Kolkata leaders regarding the preparations of Trinamool's brigade on March 10, in which Kunal was not invited, according to the local media reports.
