The Ministry of Information and Technology issued a notification giving instructions to Internet service providers to block these apps. Users of these apps will see a message that these apps have been restricted as per government orders.
To curb the further downloads of these apps, they will be taken down from Google’s Play Store and Apple’s App Store.
TikTok issue an official statement that it will be complying with the orders by the Government of India. The statement also said that it has not been sharing any personal information with any third party including the Chinese Government and will not do so in the future.

Many TikTokers like Arpit Ranka said they stand with the government’s decision and urged their followers to delete the app. He has now started a Youtube channel.
