New Delhi: Security forces in Jammu and Kashmir have nabbed three terrorists affiliated to the proscribed terror organization Jaish-e-Mohammed from the outskirts of Srinagar.

The terrorists were arrested near a checkpoint on the Srinagar-Baramulla Highway.

"Three car-borne terrorists affiliated with proscribed terror outfit JeM (were) arrested by police and security forces at Lawaypora (on Srinagar-Baramulla road) (based) on a credible input today," a police spokesperson said. The spokesperson said ammunition, including live rounds, was seized from the three terrorists.

They were identified as Rayees Hurrah, Shahid Bhat and Ishaq Lone.

On Friday, Delhi Police Special Cell arrested a Jaish-e-Mohammad commander Sajjad Khan, who was wanted in the Pulwama terror attack case in Kashmir. Sajjad was arrested on Thursday night from Red Fort area in the National Capital. He was roaming in Delhi as trader of shawls. As per reports, he was a close aide of Pulwama attack mastermind Mudassir.

As per reports, Sajjad’s brother was killed in an encounter with Ajhar Masood’s nephew-Usmaan Haider; and another brother was also killed in an encounter.
