According to a report by IANS, now people in Gautam Buddh Nagar can who have confirmed flight and train tickets will be allowed to move. An official said that as the flight and train service is going to resume in a few days those who have confirmed tickets will be allowed to travel to the airport or railway station without any other pass.
Additional police commissioner Ashutosh Dwivedi said in the report, "All the police personnel on duty should ensure that passengers with confirmed flights and rail tickets have no trouble getting to the airport and railway station. They will not need any other identity card."
PTI reported that on Friday that the district police had reaffirmed that the Noida-Delhi border will remain sealed and that people will be allowed to travel for emergencies, essential services, or if they have a valid pass.
The online train ticket booking started from May 21 and the Indian Railways has said that 200 non-AC trains will run from June 1. The government is also arranging a Common Service Centre to help people especially those who do not know how to book a ticket online.
