Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray faction) leader Sanjay Raut on Sunday took a swipe at Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, who is on a visit to Ayodhya, and said that they are copying the Thackeray faction and the public knows who is original and who is duplicate. Slamming the Bharatiya Janata Party, Raut said that we have also gone to Ayodhya several times but BJP never came with our party. He further alleged that when the Babri incident happened the BJP ran away.

“The government's Ayodhya tour is sponsored by the BJP. These people are copying us. But the original is the original, the duplicate is duplicate,” Sanjay Raut said. He continued his attack on the BJP over Shinde’s Ayodhya visit and said "BJP people never went to Ayodhya with us... But now they are going to Ayodhya by holding the fingers of the traitors."

“Whatever is going on in the name of religion... I am not opposing it. We also have faith in Lord Shri Ram. We have been going to Ayodhya for 40 years. BJP people never went to Ayodhya with us... But now they are going to Ayodhya by holding the fingers of the traitors,” Raut said. He added, “If you had so much faith in Lord Shri Ram, you would not have run away to Surat and Guwahati.”

Raut further said, “Dishonest people never get the blessings of Lord Shri Ram. You see what happens to the government after coming to Mumbai. Maharashtra has received unseasonal rains at this time. The farmers are crying and the government is on a tour of Ayodhya.”

Eknath Shinde on Sunday arrived in Ayodhya for his visit to the temple. He said that the Shiv Sena has the blessings of Lord Ram which is why their party symbol is 'Bow and Arrow'. During the day, he will be visiting Ram Mandir to take Lord Ram's blessings followed by Aarti and then he will go to Lakshman Kila.

Opposition Is The Target Not Adani: Sanjay Raut To Sharad Pawar

In an appeal to NCP chief Sharad Pawar, who earlier said that there is "no need" for a Joint Parliamentary Committee probe into the Adani issue since the Supreme Court-appointed committee is examining the relevant issues and that it seems the Adani group was "targeted" in the Hindenburg Research report, Sanjay Raut said that the opposition is the target and not Adani.

"I have an appeal to Mr. Pawar that the target is not Adani. The opposition is being targeted. People like us are being targeted," Raut said. He further said that today many industrialists are locked in jails whose crime is less than that of Adani because they don't agree with BJP's ideology.

"The opposition is being targeted. Today many such industrialists are locked in the jails of the country whose crime was less than that of Adani or not equal to it, but still these people are locked in jail because all these industrialists do not agree with the ideology of the BJP. Everyone should be treated like Adani is being treated," Sanjay Raut said.
