New Delhi: In yet another shocking incident of sudden death, an 18-year-old boy died after suffering a sudden heart attack while dancing during a function in Telangana on Saturday. The entire incident got recorded on camera. The deceased has been identified as Vishwanath Jangewad, a resident of the Shivani village in Kinwat tehsil of Nanded district, Maharashtra.


The boy had gone to attend a wedding ceremony in Pardi village adjacent to the Maharashtra-Telangana border on Friday, February 24. The reception was held the next day in which the boy was dancing.


In the video which has also gone viral on social media, the boy could be seen dancing happily to the tunes of a DJ. After some time, the boy looks a little bit uncomfortable and then he stops dancing following which he collapses. Initially, the viewers thought it was a part of his enthusiastic dance but then realise it was otherwise.






As per a report in India Today, the guests rushed the boy to Bhainsa Area Hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival. The incident has created chaos in the village.


The incident follows a series of cases where people dancing or celebrating at various functions died suffering sudden cardiac arrest.


Last year in a similar incident, a 35-year-old man died while dancing at a Garba event in Virar town of Maharashtra's Palghar district, police said, as reported by news agency PTI. The man who died was identified as Manish Narapji Sonigra. He collapsed while dancing at the Garba event at Global City complex in Virar on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday, PTI reported citing an official from the Virar police station.


In another incident, a 50-year-old man who was playing the role of Hanuman in a Ramlila, died on stage while performing in Salempur village in Uttar Pradesh’s Fatehpur district, as reported by the news agency IANS.
