Tamil Nadu SSLC Class 10 Results 2017: Tamil Nadu state board will declare the TN SSLC Class 10th results on May 19 on its official websites: tnresults.nic.in and dge.tn.nic.in. Students who appeared for Tamil Nadu Borad (TNBSE) SSLC Class 10 examinations can access their report cards at 10:00 am.


In 2016, a total of 10,23,566 students appeared for the Tamil Nadu Board 10th examination. Tamil Nadu HSC Class 12 examinations have been declared by the Directorate of Government Examinations on May 12.

The results would also be sent via SMS to the registered mobile numbers of students.

10th and 12th mark sheet gets more security with photo and secret number:

The Government of Tamil Nadu have ordered that the candidates appearing for the Higher Secondary and S.S.L.C. Public Examinations should be given mark certificates with additional security features, 2D Bar-code and Photo.

For the first time, this year the examination related documents such as nominal roll, admission certificate (Hall ticket) and attendance list have been prepared with photo of the candidate and issued to the candidates. The Admission certificate will contain the details of Name of candidate, Register Number, Subjects appearing and Name of Centre allotted for appearing to the Examination.

About the Tamil Nadu board:

The Minister of School Education, who is a member of the state legislature, is in overall charge of school education in the state. The Secretary, School Education Department is the Chief Executive Officer who assists the Education Minister in all functions related to school education in the State including planning, budgeting and administration.
