Coronavirus in India: Ever since the coronavirus pandemic hit the country, we have been listening to the COVID-19 dos and don'ts while making phone calls, and now the caller tune guides us about the unlock restrictions. But, if you are bored with the mandatory coronavirus caller tune and want it to be removed, then you are in support of Bala Nandgaonkar who has asked the central government to stop the COVID 19 caller tune 'immediately' as there is 'enough awareness' in the country.

Taking to Twitter the MNS leader said that the Covid-19 caller tune impacts important calls and it needs to be stopped.

Bala Nandgaonkar Marathi tweet can be roughly translated as "For the past several months, the Department of Telecommunications has been using the Corona as a caller tune to raise awareness about the Corona. But now there is a lot of public awareness and this caller tune often delays an important phone call or gets disconnected."

The demand made by the MNS leader was supported by some social media users while many asked him to rethink his appeal and called it necessary during such a grim situation.
