New Delhi: A day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the world’s tallest Statue of Unity in Gujarat, the gates of the same has been opened for the general public on Thursday. The 182 meter Sardar Patel statue is important for it’s a reflection of Indian history and an important element for the tourism industry.

A lazor show was also organised close to Sardar Patel statue on Wednesday night. Along with statue, people can also enjoy the Sardar Patel museum, Audio-Visual gallery, Valley of flowers and Sardar Sarvovar Dam.

What are the timings of visit?

The Statue of Unity will remain open for the general public everyday between 9am and 6pm. One can also book an online ticket for the same on https://www.soutickets.in.  It is surprising to see that all the tickets of day one and two after inauguration have already been sold.

 How much does a ticket cost?

The cost of Entry ticket for people aged between 3 to 15 years is Rs 60. whereas, the same would cost Rs 120 to adults.  To watch the statue and other sites, everyone will have to shed Rs 350 and the cost of bus ticket which would be required for reaching the statue would cost Rs 30.
