Srinagar: As the anti-GST protests are taking place in different parts of the country, a special focus has been laid on Kashmir which has been facing a massive unrest for a long time now.

In the wake of the protests, the authorities have imposed restrictions in parts of Srinagar city on Saturday to prevent protests against the implementation of the Goods and Services Tax.
Valley-wide protests and shut-down were called by Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation (KTMF) President Muhammad Yasin Khan.

Jammu and Kashmir is the only state yet to make a final call on the GST as the country's biggest tax reform was rolled out past midnight Friday.
