New Delhi: The national capital of India, Delhi again witnessed rash driving when a BMW banged into a Wagon R taxi leading to the death of the driver of the taxi.

The fatal accident took place on Sunday night. The one behind the wheel of the high-end German made car fled the scene.



Around 11 pm near IIT flyover, speeding BMW SUV crashed into taxi. The taxi driver Nazrul Islam who used to live in Gurgaon died on the spot.



As per the eyewitnesses, both the vehicles were heading from Kalkaji to Vasant Vihar in South Delhi.

Near IIT flyover, BMW went out of control and banged into the Wagon R.



The impact was so much so that the Wagon R jumped into the air.



After the accident driver of the BMW SUV escaped the scene. The SUV has Chandigarh registration.



Cops have seized the SUV and are believing that rash driving is the cause of the mishap.
