New Delhi: The representatives and dignitaries of the Sikh society of Gujarat called on Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann in Ahmadabad on Sunday.
“Representatives and dignitaries of the Sikh society of Gujarat called on Punjab CM @Bhagwant Mann and honoured him,” the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) tweeted in Hindi.
This took place after Mann visited the Swaminarayan Temple in Gujarat’s Shahibaug with AAP national convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
The two leaders offered prayers for the country’s peace and prosperity during their visit to the temple.

Earlier on Saturday, Kejriwal and Mann visited the Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad. The two AAP leaders also spun the charkha at the Sabarmati Ashram.
The duo then participated in the ‘Tiranga Yatra’.
“Delhi and Punjab are sorted, now we are preparing for Gujarat,” Mann said addressing the roadshow along with Kejriwal.
Asserting that he comes from a “land of freedom fighters Punjab”, Mann said: “I got to see a lot here. Gandhi Ji's letters and the various movements he spearheaded. Charkha is part of every other household in Punjab.”
“My mother and grandmother also use it. I have seen the Charkha being used since my childhood. We are nationalist people and we love the nation. This is my first visit to Gujarat since I became Punjab CM,” he added.
The duo urged the people of Gujarat to give the AAP an opportunity in the forthcoming state assembly elections.
“I feel gratitude to be born in the same country as Gandhiji. This is my first visit since I became Delhi's Chief Minister. But I used to come here as an activist as well,” Kejriwal said.
