Patna: When criminal turned politician Mohammad Shahabuddin made a controversial remark against Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on being released from prison after 11 years, an alleged sharpshooter Mohammad Kaif was spotted standing next to him in a flock.

The pictures from the day have created a lot of buzz and are pointing straight fingers at Shahabuddin.

Kaif, who is on a run from police, has been accused of murdering senior journalist Rajdeo Ranjan in May.

According to the footage released, Kaif first greeted Shahabuddin outside the Bhagalpur jail and thereafter accompanied him to Lalu Prasad Yadav’s residence in Siwan, along with the convoy of 300 cars.

The opposition party met the Bihar’s governor protesting against the granting of bail to Shahabuddin, claiming that “it is the return of what it calls jungle raj" in Bihar.
