New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Monday refused to hold an urgent hearing in Ayodhya case. Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi while hearing the plea said that “we have decided for a hearing in the case in first week of January and we have no need to hold an urgent hearing in the case. A plea was filed by Akhil Bhartiya Hindu Mahasaha, which has been declined by the court.

A bench led by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi on October 29 had postponed the hearing pertaining to Allahabad High Court’s decision of dividing the disputed Ayodhya land into three parts till January 2019. The Allahabad High Court in its order in 2010 had distributed the land into three parts – Ramlala, Nirmohi Akhada and Muslim groups.

Several Hindu groups and some BJP leaders thereafter sought an ordinance over Ram mandir in Supreme Court. The groups said that the matter has already been delayed a lot.  RSS, Sena and VHP warned of protests over the same. A group of saints had also held a meeting in national capital’s Talkatora Stadium last week.

Speaking on the delay in construction of Ram Mandir, Union Minister Giriraj Singh said that people are getting out of control over their demand for construction of Ram temple. Whereas; UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had said that “Justice delayed can sometimes be taken as justice denied”.

Sena takes on RSS:

The Shiv Sena on Monday took on RSS over its Hunkar Rally, which the organization is organising on November 25. Speaking on the same, Sena said “Will organising Hunkar Rally help in construction of Ram Mandir?”
