SBI PO Prelims result 2018: State Bank of India (SBI) was likely to declare the result for Probationary Officer (PO) Preliminary exam 2018 on July 15 on its official website: sbi.co.in. However, there has been some delay in the announcement of the results and the exact date and time for the same has yet not been confirmed by the officials.


SBI PO 2018 Preliminary exam was conducted by the SBI on 1, 7 and 8 in the month of July. It was conducted to fill 2,000 vacancies of Probationary Officer. Through the SBI PO results 2018, the bank will shortlist candidates for the next round of the selection process, which is SBI PO Main Exam.

SBI PO result 2018: How to check SBI PO Prelims result 2018


Once announced, the candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to check their result.

Step 1) Visit the career section of SBI’s official website: sbi.co.in

Step 2) Click on the latest announcement section

Step 3) Click on the link for SBI PO prelims 2018 result

Step 4) Enter your registration number and other details

Step 5) Click on submit

Step 6) Result will be displayed on the screen

After qualifying SBI PO preliminary exam 2018, candidates will be asked to appear for in the SBI PO Main Exam. The Main exam will have a 200 marks objective a 50 marks descriptive test. The call letters for SBI PO Main exam will be available for download from July 20, 2018 on SBI's official website.

And those who qualify Main exams will be called for Group Discussion and Interview on the basis of aggregate marks in SBI PO 2018 Main Exam. Later, the selected candidates will be designated as Probationary Officers.
