'Even Those Are Hindus To Whom We Say That They're Hindus,' Says RSS Leader Dattatreya Hosabale

Dattatreya Hosabale started by saying that Sangh is only a nationalist and not a member of either the right or the left.

New Delhi: Dattatray Hosabale, leader of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and General Secretary, stated on Wednesday that India is a Hindu Rashtra. On the topic of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, he spoke: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow was held at the Birla Auditorium in Jaipur by the Ekatm Manavdarshan Anusandhan Evam Vikas Pratishthan, reported news agency ANI.

He started by saying that Sangh is only a nationalist and not a member of either the right or the left. "People staying in India are Hindus. No matter what, everyone staying here is a Hindu because their forefathers were Hindus. And nobody should hesitate or feel insulted in accepting this because it's a fact."

The leader emphasized saying, "India is a Hindu Rashtra and those who have sculpted it is also Hindus. Everyone staying India in has their right and method to worship but their DNA is the same." 

Hosabale asserted that all Indians are Hindus because their ancestors were Hindus. They may worship in different ways, but they all share the same genetic material.

He added: "The Sangh will only set up a branch, but the volunteers of the Sangh will do all the work. He said that only with the collective efforts of all, India would lead the world by becoming Vishwa Guru. The Sangh considers all the religions and sects of India as one," quoted PTI.

"People can do union work while retaining the things of their sect. The union is not rigid, but flexible. To understand the Sangh, heart is not required. Mind alone does not work. It is the task of the Sangh to create hearts and minds. Know what life is, what is the goal of life."

According to the RSS General Secretary, the Constitution is good, but nothing can be done by it if the people who run it are bad.

He went on to say that the social stigma should not be passed on to the next generation. Water, land, and forests must therefore be safeguarded for environmental protection.

"We have to keep the society active for India's identity and existence."

Hosabale claimed that the country's democracy was helped by the RSS. Foreign journalists wrote about this fact. In Tamil Nadu, there was a conch shell of Hindu awakening against conversion.
