Talking to ABP News, Swamy said the BJP made three major poll promises to the people, out of which two have been fulfilled.
"Our main agendas were to improve the economy, fight against corruption and spread Hindutva. We have accomplished two of them and people are satisfied with us," he said.
Swamy, however, said the Modi government could not bring back money stashed abroad but claimed that not a single of corruption has come up against any minister in the past four years, unlike in the previous UPA regime.
He said the BJP will repeat its 2014 performance in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections and will increase by 10 seats.
"The Opposition has no alternative. And whatever alternative has come up, people are considering it to be a coalition of anti-national parties. Moreover, people are perturbed after listening to the statements from the Congress party because they feel it would ruin the country," he said.
On the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid issue, Swamy said the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya will begin soon.
"Ram temple will be built. Whether Amit Shah has said this or not but I am saying that the construction will begin this Diwali," he said.
Swamy also hit out at Finance Minister Arun Jaitley for "wrong implementation" of demonetisation and GST.
"As an economist, I disagree with Jaitely. I don't consider the GST good for the economy. Also, the finance ministry did not prepare before implementing demonetisation," he said.
On what will be his role in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Swamy said it's upon BJP president Amit Shah to decide.
