New Delhi: As the Ram Mandir issue has taken a center stage in country’s politics, union minister Giriraj Singh has once again made a controversial statement. While addressing a press conference in Meerut’s Circuit house, Giriraj said “Ram Temple will not formed at government’s stake, but will be formed with the support of manliness of 100 crore Hindus.”
Speaking further on the ram temple issue, he said “The land was dug twice in Ayodhya, but no one spoke, ram mandir will be built again.” He further lashed out at former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah saying, “Farooq says built mandir elsewhere, I would like to ask him if he can go anywhere other than Makka for Hajj?”
Giriraj Singh had earlier said that "Hindus are losing patience on the issue of Ram Temple and it is only a matter of time when they lose their patience".
The statement comes when the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) will organise a massive rally demanding a bill for construction of a Ram temple in Ayodhya in national capital’s Ramlila Maidaan. The VHP has been saying that it was confident that the bill will be tabled in the upcoming winter session of Parliament for paving the way for construction of a Ram temple in Ayodhya.
"The 'dharam sansad' - congregation of Hindu priests - at the Ramlila ground tomorrow will be addressed by RSS' executive head Suresh 'Bhaiyyaji' Joshi. It will be a massive gathering which will change the hearts of all those who are not in favour of bringing the bill for construction of a grand Ram temple in Ayodhaya," VHP's spokesperson Vinod Bansal said on Saturday.
