New Delhi: After Punjab’s drug problem came into limelight via television channels, social media and various publications because of the controversies surrounding the yet to be released movie ‘Udta Punjab’, a lot of netas have come forward to discuss the issue at length. Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi  on Monday, while leading a protest in Jalandhar spoke about Punjab’s drug problem and of law and order situation in the state. Rahul while addressing the crowd quoted Capt Amarinder Singh and said, “Amarinderji said that if Cong comes to power, drug problem will be curbed in a month because we intend to give more powers to police”. Rahul’s tall claims didn’t get down the throats of the Twitteratis, who flooded Twitter with a lot of sarcastic tweets, mocking and slamming Gandhi over his claims to solve the state's drug problem in a month, which is a pain for most of the households from several years.
