New Delhi: President Ram Nath Kovind will visit Odisha and Andhra Pradesh as part of a two-day visit today. According to government sources, the President will reach Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneshwar at around 2:45 PM on Saturday. From there, he will leave for Puri in about 10 minutes where he will spend the rest of the day.


As per his schedule, he will visit the Jagannath Temple in Puri at around 5 PM and stay there for nearly 45 minutes. It will be his third visit to the temple during his tenure.


On February 20, Sunday, President Kovind will inaugurate the three-year-long celebrations of the 150th birth anniversary of Srimad Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Goswami Prabhupad, the founder of Gaudiya Math and Mission in Puri. 


He will reach the Gaudiya Math and Mission in Puri at around 10:30 AM on Sunday. Central Range IG of Police, Narsingh Bhol on Friday inspected the security arrangements made for the President’s visit. 


On February 21, he will witness the Fleet Review and Flypast 2022 at Vishakhapatnam. As the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, the President Of India reviews the Indian Naval Fleet once in their term as a part of ‘President’s Fleet Review’.


According to the information provided on the official website of the Indian Navy, the Fleet review will have six Ocean-going Indian naval Sailing Vessels. The vessels are manned each with six naval officers from three Commands of Navy, ANC, and IHQ MoD. The crew also includes six women officers.
