US President Joe Biden saluted Prime Minister Narendra Modi while exchanging greetings when the leaders met during a visit to a mangrove forest in Bali on the sidelines of the G20 summit. Modi can also be seen in the pic waving back at Biden.
This comes after both leaders hugged each other tightly on the first day of the G20 summit while exchanging handshakes.

Modi tweeted photographs of world leaders planting mangrove saplings to send out a message on the fight against climate change. It was a visual treat to see world leaders including Modi taking part in the initiative. Modi and other prominent G20 world leaders visited and planted Mangroves at Taman Hunta Raya Ngurah Rai Mangrove forests, reported news agency ANI.
One of the photos showed Modi, Biden, and Indonesian counterpart Joko Widodo raising their garden hoes and smiling at the camera. While another photograph shows the Prime Minister interacting with President Biden and French President Emmanuel Macron.

The video shared on Tuesday shows Prime Minister Modi who at first appears to have missed seeing President Biden approaching him, but then turns around quickly for a handshake and gives him a hug. Biden can be seen laughing after Modi said something while he was on his way back to his seat.
The warm exchanges between the leaders comes on the back of India's refusal to toe the West line on the Russia-Ukraine conflict. India has repeatedly called for a ceasefire and pressed for a diplomatic solution to the conflict, but abstained from taking a side.
On buying oil from Russia at a time when the West imposed sanctions against it over operations in Ukraine, India has communicated there is "no moral conflict" whatsoever.
