New Delhi: In view of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Lok Sabha Secretariat will organize an online yoga session on International Yoga Day this year. This program is divided into four sessions. One of these four sessions will be conducted by Pragya Singh Thakur, the BJP MP from Bhopal. Pragya Thakur will host a session that has been named "Yoga: A Way of Life." This session will take place between 12 pm and 2 pm. Pragya Thakur will explain the importance of yoga to the MPs during this segment.
Congress Leader Raises Questions
A Congress leader has objected to Pragya Thakur conducting the session and has questioned PM Modi. Congress MP and Member of Lok Sabha, Manickam Tagore, has asked whether Pragya Thakur has been forgiven by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Congress leader asked, "Has PM Modi changed his mind on Pragya Thakur as 'Yoga Day' is dear to PM Modi's and Pragya Thakur will be the chief guest for all MP's shows that day? Have you truly forgiven her?"

Along with his tweet, Congress leader Manickam Tagore has also shared the video of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in which he is seen speaking against Pragya Thakur's statement.
First Session to Begin at 7 am
The first session of this program organised by the Lok Sabha will start at 7 in the morning. Yoga guru Dr. Desai will host this session and provide information about yoga to the participants. This will be an entirely practical session.
MP Sumedhanand Saraswati to Conduct Second Session
The second session will be conducted by Lok Sabha MP Sumedhanand Saraswati. The theme of the second session is "Meditation for Holistic Well Being." This session will start at 11 am and will continue till 12 noon.
Pragya Thakur to Conduct Third Session
Pragya Thakur will be in charge of the third session. Sadhvi Pragya Thakur is a BJP MP from Bhopal. She had defeated Digvijay Singh of Congress by a huge margin. Pragya Thakur was one of the key people accused in the Malegaon bomb blast case, but she has been acquitted by the court.
Dr. Ishwar V. to Conduct Final Session
The last session of the yoga program will be conducted by Dr. Ishwar V. Basavaraddi, Director, Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga. The theme of this segment is "Importance of Yoga in COVID and Post-COVID Management." The preparations for all the sessions have been completed by the government.
