Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on a mega tour of four states -- Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh -- on July 7-8 and lay the foundation stones of about 50 projects worth around Rs 50,000 crore, sources told ABP News. PM Modi will participate in around a dozen programmes across five cities -- Raipur, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Warangal and Bikaner -- in 36 hours.


Of the four states, elections will be held in Telangana, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh later this year.


As per the schedule, PM Modi, on July 7, will first travel from Delhi to Raipur in Chhattisgarh, where he will lay foundation stones and dedicate multiple projects. These include a foundation stone for six-lane sections of the Raipur-Vishakhapatnam corridor. Thereafter, he will attend a public meeting.

PM Modi will then travel to Gorakhpur, where will attend a programme at Gita Press. Thereafter, he will flag off 3 Vande Bharat trains. He will also lay the foundation stone for the redevelopment of Gorakhpur railway station.


From Gorakhpur, PM Modi will travel to his constituency, Varanasi, where he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones of multiple key projects. The PM will dedicate Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction to Son Nagar new line of Dedicated Freight Corridor. 


He will also dedicate the four-lane widening of NH 56 (Varanasi-Jaunpur). The PM will also lay the foundation stone for renovation of Manikarnika Ghat and Harishchandra Ghat. 


On July 8, PM Modi will travel from Varanasi to Warangal in poll-bound Telangana. He will lay the foundation stone of various projects, including key sections of Nagpur-Vijayawada Corridor. The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone of four laning of Karimnagar-Warangal section of NH 563. Thereafter, he will attend a public meeting in Warangal. 


PM Modi will then travel from Warangal to Bikaner in poll-bound Rajasthan, where he will dedicate various sections of the Amritsar-Jamnagar Expressway to the nation. He will also dedicate the Inter-State Transmission Line for Green Energy Corridor Phase- I. 


The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone for the redevelopment of Bikaner railway station. Thereafter, he will attend a public meeting in Bikaner.
