Former Union Minister Kapil Sibal has advised Prime Minister Narendra Modi to become a 'sanatani'. Sending a message on the occasion of PM's 73rd birthday, Sibal said that there is no problem with people celebrating the Prime Minister's birthday and advised the latter to "become a Sanatani". BJP workers and PM Modi's supporters are celebrating his birthday across the country with Puja and Havan. President Murmu, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh among others also extended their wishes to the PM on the occasion.
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge took to X, formerly Twitter, to extend his greetings to the PM. "My best wishes to PM Shri Narendra Modi ji on his birthday. May he be blessed with good health and long life," Kharge wrote.
Congress MP Rahul Gandhi also wished the PM on his birthday and said, "Wishing PM Narendra Modi a happy birthday."

“You have given concrete shape to the global prestige of Indian culture, multi-dimensional development of the people and universal progress of the nation. A Cuttack-based smoke artist, Deepak Biswal made a portrait of PM Narendra Modi for his 73rd birthday.
"I have created a smoke portrait of PM Narendra Modi to wish him on his 73rd birthday...In the portrait, I have also depicted the Konark wheel, Odisha's magnificent culture & heritage. The Konark wheel was used as a backdrop by PM Modi during the G 20 Summit when he met with the leaders and it is a matter of pride for us," Biswal said.
Sand artist Sudarshan also took to a beach in Odisha’s Puri and wished the PM a happy birthday with his art.
