The Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) will begin a "Seva Pakhwada" (a fortnight of service) on September 17, the day before Prime Minister Narendra Modi turns 72, and will continue holding activities through Gandhi Jayanti on October 2.


On PM Modi's personality and accomplishments, exhibitions will be held at the state and district levels.


Taking to Twitter, BJP stated: "Various programs of 'Seva Pakhwada' will be organized by Bharatiya Janata Party across the country from 17 September to 2 October to commemorate the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi."

Additionally, campaigns will be undertaken to encourage planting trees, maintaining cleanliness, and educating people about the need of water conservation.


The message of Ek Bharat, Shrestha Bharat will also be spread at a festival that promotes "unity in diversity."


Party officials and leaders have received orders to this effect from BJP General Secretary Arun Singh, who has directed them to carry out the programmes in accordance with the timetable provided.

BJP officials have been tasked with promoting the social programmes implemented by the Modi administration as well as the messages conveyed by the millions of people who have benefited from them.


The BJP workers have also been directed to promote the book Modi @20 and to post such messages on the NaMo App.


Additionally, camps for blood donation and health screenings will be organised.
