"It is certain that people did not vote for us in the civic polls. There is mistrust for us among people. It is time to reflect where we started from and where are we heading," he said.
The AAP leader said the party must identify reasons and problems that led to defeat in Delhi and Punjab.
"We talked about cleanliness and sanitation during campaigns but people didn't buy our communication. They didn't notice BJP's corruption in MCD but AAP's infighting," he said.
"Only blaming EVMs for loss is not good. It can be a factor, which can be raised and discussed. If there are allegations and complaints against these machines, the EC must look into it," he added
The poet-cum-politician said all the parties must refrain from doing 'hero worship' and hailing political leaders excessively.
Vishwas also said the video that Arvind Kejriwal released asking for for proofs of Surgical strikes could have been avoided.
Denying reports on rift with Kejriwal as "media creations", Vishwas said the party stands united and he sits and discusses issues with the chief minister.
