New Delhi: Ministry of Home Affairs has ordered an enquiry into the security breach in Parliament. An enquiry committee has been set up under Anish Dayal Singh, DG, CRPF, with members from other security agencies and experts.
The probe panel will investigate into the reasons for breach in security of Parliament, identify the lapses and recommend further action. The enquiry committee will submit its report with recommendations, including suggestions on improving security in Parliament, at the earliest, MHA said.
A security breach was reported after unidentified persons jumped down from the visitors’ gallery in Lok Sabha during the ongoing Winter Session of Parliament earlier in the day. The intruders had gas cannisters and raised slogans inside the House.

The two persons who entered the Parliament building have been identified as Sagar Sharma and Manoranjan D. At the same time, two other accused, Amol Shinde and Neelam Devi, sprayed coloured gas from cannisters and shouted slogans "tanashahi nahi chalegi" outside the Parliament building.
All four of them are in police custody, along with another accused Vishal, in whose house they were staying. Efforts are underway to nab the sixth suspect, police said.
During probe, Amol said that they carried out this act as they were miffed with issues like the farmers' protest, Manipur crisis and unemployment, PTI reported.
According to police, all six of them knew each other for four years and were in constant touch. They had hatched the plan a few days back and had also conducted a recce of the Parliament premises.
