Speaking with optimism, he said the country is “knocking on the doors” of this milestone and vowed that when the achievement is realised, he would make the announcement himself from the Red Fort.

"The country is on its way to becoming the third-largest economy and is moving forward at a rapid pace. We are knocking on the doors, and very soon we will achieve this goal. One day, I will also share this news with you from the Red Fort," PM Modi said.

The Prime Minister further claimed that the world is confident about India's economy, calling the nation "a ray of hope amidst the global instability".

"We are moving towards prosperity, but the path to prosperity passes through security. Over the past 11 years, we have worked with full commitment on all fronts — national security, defense, and the protection of our citizens," PM Modi added.

PM Modi said a nation is built by the dedication and efforts of millions of people, scholars, scientists, teachers, farmers, soldiers, workers, and citizens from all walks of life.
