Karnataka Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao's visit to one of the Mohalla Clinics in Delhi seems to have gone the other way as Congress and AAP have again come face-to-face. After the minister made a U-turn over his experience after seeing the clinic, the Aam Aadmi Party has now claimed that Rao changed track after he received a call. AAP leader Sushil Kumar Gupta said that Rao was hailing the Delhi model of the Mohalla clinic and soon he received a phone call after which he changed his view.

"Dinesh Rao Ji (Karnataka minister & Congress leader Dinesh Gundu Rao) was seeing Mohalla clinic (in Delhi) and was praising it. Suddenly, he received a call and his language changed," Gupta told ANI.

Notably, on Friday, Karnataka Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao visited a Mohalla Clinic and inquired about the facilities available there. While talking to the press, he said that the visit was an attempt to learn how the clinics work to implement new things in Karnataka. He said that the clinic is properly functioning.

However, hours later, the minister tweeted and said that it was all 'overhyped' and that he is 'disappointed'.

"Visited a Mohalla Clinic in Delhi with hardly any people there. Our Clinics in Karnataka have more facilities including a laboratory to do immediate tests for patients. I guess it is overhyped and I came back feeling disappointed," he said.

In a statement, as per PTI, AAP said that only the minister can clarify why he changed his stance.

Meanwhile, Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit reacted to Karnataka Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao's visit. Dikshit said that he at times his party leaders get influenced by the glamour of CM Arvind Kejriwal and asked why they (Congress leaders) don't talk about the same to Congressmen who are living in Delhi.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Dikshit tweeted, "Wish you'd met us also @dineshgrao - wud have shown real truth of @ArvindKejriwal edu, health, finance, environment, water, roads, buses, infra, rampant corruption .......Perhaps you could have conveyed this to his new drum beaters in @INCIndia."

"At times, I feel sad when some Congress ministers who visit Delhi get influenced by his (Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal) glamour, they should ask the Congressmen living in Delhi about the reality..." the leader told ANI.
