Eligibility
NEET-
• General category candidates must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in physics, chemistry, biology/ biotechnology.
• For the SC/ ST/ OBC candidates, the minimum marks er 40% while PWD category should have 45% marks.
CMAT-
• The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) whose result will be declared before commencement of admission for academic year 2019-20 can also apply for CMAT-2019 computer based test (CBT).
• There is no age restriction for appearing in CMAT-201
GPAT-
• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy (4 years after 10+2, including lateral entry students) or equivalent from a recognized university.
• Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree B. Pharmacy (10+2+4) whose result will be declared before commencement of admission for academic year 2019-20 can also apply for GPAT - 2019 computer-based test (CBT).
• B.Tech. (Pharmaceutical and Fine Chemical Technology)/ equivalent candidates are not eligible to apply.
• There is no age restriction for appearing in GPAT - 2019.
Test pattern:
NEET-
• Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) - 180 objective type questions
• Each question carries 4 marks. For each correct response the candidate will get 4 marks.
• For each incorrect response one mark will be deducted for the total score.
• Duration: 3 hours
CMAT-
• Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation - 25 questions, 100 marks
• Logical Reasoning - 25 questions, 100 marks
• Language Comprehension - 25 questions, 100 marks
• General Awareness - 25 questions, 100 marks
• There are 4 marks for each correct answer. There shall be negative marking for wrong answers, for each wrong answer 1 mark shall be deducted.
GPAT-
• The medium of Question Paper shall be in English only.
• GPAT is an online computer-based test of 3 hours duration with 125 objective type questions.
• There are 4 marks for a correct answer. There shall be negative marking for wrong answers, for each wrong answer 1 mark shall be deducted.
Important things to know
• Application form submission process for NEET 2019, CMAT 2019 and GPAT 2019 is online
• NEET 2019 admit cards will be available on April 15, 2019, while that for CMAT and GPAT it is January 7, 2019.
• NEET 2019 results will be announced on June 5, 2019, while the results of CMAT and GPAT will be declared by February 8, 2019.
• In NEET exam diabetic students will be allowed to carry eatables like sugar tablets/ fruits (like banana/apple/ orange) and transparent water bottle to the examination hall.
• However, packed foods like chocolates/ candy/ sandwich etc. are not allowed during NEET exam.
• Using NEET 2019 score, admission will be done for All India Quota seats, State Government Quota Seats, seats available in Central Institutions/ Universities/ Deemed Universities State/ Management/ NRI Quota.
• Neet 2019 - Seats in Private Medical / Dental Colleges or any Private University and Central Pool Quota Seats.
• The medium of the Neet 2019 question paper will be English and Hindi/ Assamese/ Bengali/ Gujarati/ Kannada/ Marathi/ Odia/ Tamil/ Telugu/ Urdu.
• On the other hand, the medium of the exam is English only for CMAT and GPAT.
• The result of CMAT and GPAT will be compiled on the basis of final answer keys. No grievance with regard to answer key(s) after declaration of result of CMAT-2019 will be entertained.
• There shall be no provision for re-valuation/re-checking of the Score. No correspondence in this regard shall be entertained for CMAT and GPAT.
• The GPAT score card will be valid for three years.
