Indian Railways: Northern Railways has issued important information for passengers travelling by train. If you are planning to travel between November 24 and November 27, your train may be cancelled or its routes may have been changed. Northern Railway informed that trains passing through Ghaziabad have been cancelled through a tweet.


Why are trains cancelled?


The construction of the third foot over bridge at the Northern Railway Ghaziabad railway station is underway, due to which the trains have been cancelled. Nine trains passing through this route have been cancelled already. 


“The work of provision of a third foot over bridge at Ghaziabad railway station will be done by Delhi Division of Northern Railway to increase passenger amenities, further strengthen infrastructure and better safety. The following trains will be affected for the execution of this work,” tweeted Northern Railway.






Cancelled trains:



  • Train No - 04183/04184 Tundla-Delhi Junction-Tundla EMU Special will remain cancelled from November 24 to November 26

  • Train No - 04444/04443 New Delhi-Ghaziabad-New Delhi Special will remain cancelled from November 24 to November 26.

  • Train No - 04439 Palwal-New Delhi-Ghaziabad special will be cancelled on November 24 and 26. 

  • Train No - 04459/04460 Delhi Jn. - Saharanpur-Delhi Jn. The EMU special will remain cancelled on November 26.

  • Train No - 04335/04336 Moradabad-Ghaziabad-Moradabad special will remain cancelled on November 26.


Partially cancelled trains:



  • Train No - 04407 Palwal-Ghaziabad EMU special will be partially cancelled from November 24 to 26

  • Train No - 04409 Ghaziabad-Shakurbasti EMU special will be partially cancelled from  November 24 to 26.

  • Train No - 04419 Mathura Jn-Ghaziabad EMU Special will be partially cancelled from  November 24 to 26.

  • Train No - 04420 Ghaziabad-Mathura Jn. The EMU special will be partially cancelled from November 24 to 26.
