Nitish Kumar took oath as the Chief Minister of Bihar for the fourth consecutive term. Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP President JP Nadda, Former Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis and BJP's Bihar in-charge Bhupendra Yadav were present in the oath ceremony of Bihar cabinet ministers. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also took to Twitter and congratulated the newly inducted Bihar cabinet Ministers. While Nitish Kumar took for the 7th time, all eyes were on the cabinet ministers. The newly formed cabinet looks balanced based on the caste and the two deputy Chief Ministers from BJP are expected to play an important role in the future of Bihar politics.

Santosh Suman, son of Jitan Ram Manjhi, HAM chief and Mukesh Sahni from VIP have also been inducted in the Bihar cabinet. the newly formed group of ministers include two women and no Muslim leaders, though the expansion of cabinet is likely to happen soon as said by Devendra Fadnavis.

None of the opposition leaders attending the oath ceremony of Nitish Government. Both RJD and Congress issued a statement to boycott the swearing-in ceremony. "Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) boycotts swearing-in ceremony. The mandate for change is against the NDA. The mandate was changed with ‘Government Order’. Ask the unemployed, farmers, contract workers and teachers of Bihar what is going on with them. People are agitated by the fraud of the NDA. We are the people’s representative and stand with the public,” the party tweeted in Hindi.
