AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisin on Tuesday held both Bihar and West Bengal governments responsible for repeated incidents of violence in the states. Lashing out at the continuous failure of the states to contain the arson, Owaisi said that whenever there is violence in a State, the responsibility for it falls on the state government.

As per ANI, he said, Whenever there is violence in a State the responsibility for it falls on the State government," adding that 'there's planning behind it.

"Madrasa Azizia in Biharsharif was set ablaze, shops of Muslim targeted - there's planning behind it. Bihar CM Nitish Kumar knew Nalanda is a sensitive district yet there was a disturbance there," Owaisi further said.

Accusing Nitish Kumar and Tejashwi Yadav of 'instilling' fear among Muslims in the state, he added, "He has no remorse, he even attended an Iftar yesterday. CM Nitish and Tejashwi want to instill fear in Muslims in the state." The AIMIM MP said no matter what happens, it's always the state government that is responsible.

He said, as quoted by ANI, "It's the failure of the state governments, whether it is the West Bengal government or the Bihar government, or whether it is the mob lynching of Idrees Pasha in Karnataka. What was the government doing?"

Condemning the violence and questioning Bihar CM Nitish Kumar's leadership, Asaduddin Owaisi said, "A man who has been chief minister for years, Nitish Kumar, has not been able to stop this. I condemn the behaviour of Nitish Kumar and the RJD govt that they have completely failed in stopping the burning of this madrasa & attack on the masjid. Also, targetted burning of properties of Muslims had taken place in Bihar."
