New Delhi: As Prime Minister Modi turned 72 today, politicians and dignitaries extended their best wishes. President Draupadi Murmu shared a tweet wishing PM Modi on his birthday. "Hearty congratulations and best wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his birthday. I wish that the nation-building campaign being carried out by you with incomparable hard work, dedication and creativity, continues to progress under your leadership. I wish that God bless you with good health and long life," the tweet in Hindi read.

Home Minister Amit Shah shared a video on Twitter describing the sarifices made by the Prime Minister for the country. "Sacrifice, dedication and nation first..." read the tweet. The 4 min 22 second long video has several shots of PM Modi's key moments so far.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh in his tweet in Hindi said PM Modi has given new heights to "India's prestige and self-respect" across the world.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, shared a 1 minute 25 second video in which she wished the Prime Minister a long and healthy life.
Nitin Gadkari, the Road and Transport Minister shared a screenshot of an article he wrote in the Times of India about PM Modi, in which he said that the Prime Minister would monitor projects himself and personally supervise their progress.
The External Affairs Minister in several tweets said that he prays for a long and healthy life for the Prime Minister and that his visionary leadership is an inspiration for all.
