A Lufthansa flight (LH772) from Munich to Bangkok was diverted to Delhi on Wednesday due to an unruly passenger on board, reported ANI quoting sources at Delhi airport as saying. 


“A Lufthansa flight (LH772) from Munich to Bangkok has been diverted to Delhi due to an unruly passenger on board. Security personnel have reached and are waiting for flight gates to be opened,” the report stated, quoting sources as saying. 


Last week on November 23, an IndiGo flight for Jeddah to Hyderabad was diverted to Karachi in Pakistan following a medical emergency on-board. In a statement, the airline said that the captain diverted the flight to Karachi, where the passenger was attended to by a doctor on arrival.






Passengers with unruly behaviour on-board the flights has become a habitual occurrence. On November 20, a passenger on-board a Jaipur-Bengaluru flight allegedly misbehaved with the crew members mid-air. The passenger was allegedly drunk and was warned multiple times of his behaviour, the police had said. 


The 32-year-old passenger was arrested after the plane landed at the Bengaluru airport. 


"Based on the complaint received from IndiGo, we registered a case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and arrested the passenger," said a senior police officer.

He was later released on bail, the officer said. 


Unfortunately, the passenger was declared dead by the doctor on landing. 


"There was a medical emergency on board IndiGo flight 6E 68 operating from Jeddah to Hyderabad. The captain diverted the flight to Karachi, where the passenger was attended to by a doctor on arrival. Unfortunately, the passenger did not survive and was declared dead on arrival," the airline said in a statement.
