New Delhi: In a fresh shoe-hurling incident, a man allegedly threw shoes at an additional sessions judge of Saket Court on Friday. He was immediately nabbed by the police present in the courtroom.

According to reports, the alleged man Manoj was unhappy with the judgement of the court in a murder case and flung his shoes at the additional sessions judge Lokesh Kumar who was hearing an acquittal plea of two men accused in a murder case. Manoj was a witness of the case. The shoe missed the judge but landed on his bench.

Dissatisfied with the acquittal of accused, an infuriated Manoj, accused the law-officers of being biased, said the media reports.

At the time when shoe was hurled at him, the judge was questioning a police officer, who acted on his feet and immediately nabbed Manoj. Creating a rumpus in the courtroom Manoj tried to free himself from the grips of the officer.  Delhi police has registered an FIR against Manoj for assaulting and obstructing a public servant to deter him from conducting his duties.

It is being said that this is not the maiden instance of Manoj obstructing the court's proceedings. Earlier too, Manoj and his mother allegedly created a similar commotion in the courtroom.
