The Lok Sabha is set to deliberate on the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya on Saturday, marking the culmination of the Budget session of Parliament. According to a bulletin from the Lok Sabha Secretariat, Satyapal Singh, senior BJP leader, will lead the discussion on the construction of the historic Shri Ram Temple and Pran Pratishtha of Shri Ramlala. Additionally, Shiv Sena member Shrikant Shinde has also given notice for a discussion on the issue, as reported by news agency PTI.
The ongoing Budget session of Parliament, the final session of the 17th Lok Sabha, commenced on January 31 and is scheduled to conclude on Saturday. With Lok Sabha elections anticipated to occur in April-May this year, members of the ruling alliance are expected to commend Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his role in facilitating the construction of the Ayodhya Ram temple following a lengthy legal battle.
Earlier, sources told ABP News that after the motion on Ram Mandir, PM Modi will be thanked following the discussion on the temple.

Whip Issued by BJP in Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha Ahead of Discussion
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday issued a whip to its Members of Parliament (MPs) in both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, directing their presence in Parliament on Saturday for crucial legislative proceedings, according to PTI.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi's participation in the consecration ceremony at the temple on January 22 garnered widespread attention nationwide. The BJP perceives the temple issue as a factor that could foster a favourable electoral atmosphere in its favour during the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
