The Allahabad High Court will hear a matter pertaining to Mathura’s Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi-Shahi Idgah Masjid dispute today. The petition has been filed to put together all the cases related to the Janmabhumi issue and transfer all the cases to the high court. The case will be heard in the single bench of Justice Arvind Kumar Mishra.
In the matter, the UP government has filed a reply in the High Court along with the Temple Trust, Shahi Idgah Masjid Committee, and UP Sunni Central Waqf Board.
The court has also asked Additional Advocate General Manish Goyal to cooperate in the debate. In the petition, It has been argued that if all the cases of the same nature which are pending in the Mathura court are heard together in the High Court, then the matter will be settled soon.

The court will give its verdict after hearing all the arguments from all the parties. Advocate Ranjana Agnihotri has filed a petition on behalf of Shri Krishna Virajman as a friend of Lord Shri Krishna. Ranjana Agnihotri, Hari Shankar Jain and Vishnu Jain are appearing on behalf of Shri Krishna Virajman.
In December last year, the court issued an order to conduct a survey at the disputed site. The court issued notices to all parties, saying they had been asked to comply with the court's order.
On December 8, Hindu Sena president Vishnu Gupta and vice president Surjit Singh Yadav claimed in the court that the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb constructed the Idgah by demolishing a temple on 13.37 acres of land of Lord Krishna's birthplace. The petition also challenged the agreement made in the year 1968 between Shri Krishna Janmasthan Seva Sangh vs Shahi Masjid Idgah.
