New Delhi:   Justice Markandey Katju has made it to headlines again, this time over his controversial remarks against people of Bihar.  Katju on Monday took on to his Facebook account and posted a string of shocking messages.

At the time when angst against Pakistan is at its peak, post Uri attacks which claimed the lives of 18 Indian soldiers, Justice Katju began comparing Bihar with Pakistan.  Katju in one of his posts said, “Pakistan got all the ideas of Jungle Raj from Bihar”.

Katju, in a satiric tone said that as per the information received by him, “Pakistan has plainly refused to take Bihar along with Kashmir”.

After facing a lot of criticism, Katju came up with a not very convincing justification for humiliating Biharis. Katju, in an interview to ABP News said, “People must learn to take humour”.

He added and said, “I make fun of everyone”. He cited examples where he had mocked Bengalis, Brahmans and even Tamils.

After Congress leader KC Tyagi slammed Katju over his remark and sought that he should be booked for “sedition”, Katju had a comeback on that as well and said, “I must be charged under Lunatics act  and not sedition”.
