New Delhi: On Thursday, a terrorist attack took place on Chowkibal army camp in Kupwara's Panzgam in Jammu and Kashmir.


The camp is full of artillery.

  • New revelation: Three terrorists attacked the army camp, two dead, one absconding, say sources.

  • "Fidayeen terrorists attacked the Panzgam army camp close to the Line of Control (LoC) around 4.30 a.m." Defence Ministry Spokesman, Colonel Rajesh Kalia told IANS.

  • "The three soldiers killed, included a captain and a non-commissioned officer (NGO)," the spokesman added.

  • Terrorists attacked the camp around 4 am and two of them are reported to be hiding inside the camp.

  • Two terrorists are shot dead by army. Hunt for others is underway.






Two suspected Jaish-e-Mohammed militants were killed in the retaliatory action by the army.

The deceased officer has been identified as Capt Ayush but the names of the two soldiers were not immediately known, official sources said, reported PTI.
