ITBP Assistant Commandant Sudhakar Shinde: Where ITBP Assistant Commandant Sudhakar Shinde who hoisted the tricolour 5 days ago on Independence Day was shot dead by the Naxalites at the same place on Friday afternoon. On August 15, Shinde told villagers about how to get freedom from Naxalites. Today, he was found lying unconscious due to the bullets of the Naxalites at the same place.


Earlier in the day in Chhattisgarh, ITBP Assistant Commandant Sudhakar Shinde and ASI Gurmukh Singh were killed in an encounter with Maoists in Narayanpur.


Sindhe's picture from the Independence Day event has now gone viral on social media. On August 15, Sindhe not only hoisted the tricolour with the sarpanch and the villagers but also distributed the items needed by the villagers.



Chhattisgarh Naxal Attack


According to Bastar IGP Sundarraj, ITBP personnel had gone out for searching for Naxal movements and this is when the ambushed on the ITBP team took place, resulting in death of Shinde and ASI Gurumukh Singh.


Who Is Sudhakar Shinde?


Sudhakar Shinde was assistant commandant in ITBP 45 battalion. He belonged to Nanded district of Maharashtra. Sudhakar Shinde was just posted at Kadameta camp in Narayanpur district.


Sudhakar has worked in Mohla Manpur in Rajnandgaon district in naxal area from 2012 to 2015. His family lives in Raipur. Sudhakar Shinde was promoted in 2019 based on his work.


The camp near which Sudhakar Shinde was martyred today was taken over by ITBP from Chhattisgarh police 3 months ago. The entire camp was set up by Sudhakar Shinde.


The mortal remains of martyred Assistant Commandant Sudhakar Shinde and ASI Gurumukh Singh have been brought to Narayanpur. Here, Bastar Sundarraj and ITBP officers and soldiers including District SP are also gathered. After paying tribute to the martyred soldiers, their mortals remains will be sent to their villages. Sudhakar Shinde is a resident of Nanded in Maharashtra and Gurmukh Singh is a resident of Raikot in Punjab.
