New Delhi: Days ahead of the 'Bharat Jodo Yatra', the Congress on Wednesday said its YouTube channel 'Indian National Congress' has been deleted and it is investigating whether a technical glitch or sabotage had caused this, as reported by the news agency PTI. "Our YouTube channel - 'Indian National Congress' has been deleted. We are fixing it and have been in touch with Google/YouTube teams," the party said on its official Twitter handle.

"We are investigating what caused this - a technical glitch or sabotage. Hope to be back soon. Team INC Social Media," it said.

Rahul Gandhi, the party's leader, will lead Congress on its "Bharat Jodo Yatra," which will set out from Kanyakumari on September 7 and end in Kashmir.

Sonia Gandhi, the head of the Congress, had announced the yatra at the party's Chintan Shivir in Udaipur in May.

Over 12 states will be visited throughout the five-month yatra's 3,500-kilometer journey. Every day, the padyatra (march) will travel 25 kilometres.

Senior Congress officials including Sonia Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will attend the padayatras, rallies, and public meetings that will be part of the yatra.

The assembly elections for this year's state legislature were a disaster for the Congress, and the yatra is considered as an effort to galvanise the party's grassroots supporters for the forthcoming elections.
